The subject of the song is love. I took the song to mean that love is rare and simple, but in lots of different places and beautiful when found. I plan to use different scenic shots and shots of lots of varied people to portray this, though, in keeping with the style and genre of music my main character will be a representation of Dolly Parton and of country music.

I have decided to make my music video through the medium of stop-motion animation. (Stop-motion (also known as stop-action or frame-by-frame) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.) There are many stop-motion animation examples on the internet and in the media today. A form of stop-motion is clay-mation - the animating of clay figures using a series of still images - famously, Wallace and Gromit are animated in this way. Stop-motion is a craze currently hitting YouTube with pros and amateurs alike trying it for themselves. I thought making my music video with the same kind of animation technique would be appealing to users of YouTube - one of the most successful ways of making a video well known.

The idea of stop-motion goes with the simplicity of the song. The song has a nice, simple beat (like the flutter of a butterfly).

I intend to make a selection of origami butterflies - I think this goes well with the idea of love being 'rare and gentle'. All my origami figures will be made from different paper, making them all unique.
